Art Club
Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 3-4 pm
Art Club for KS 3 students has been placed on hold to enable
KS 4 students to prepare for their exams.
Art Club is an exciting opportunity for anyone who enjoys drawing and painting. We explore the use of different media to create realistic pieces and practice drawing and painting techniques
Code Club
Every Wednesday 3-4 pm
Providing opportunities for students to develop coding skills.
We believe in learning through making, and our coding projects offer young people plenty of opportunities to be creative and to share their creations with each other.
All KS3 are welcome.
Netball
KS4 Netball Practice every Tuesday 3-4pm
KS3 Netball Practice every Thursday 3-4pm
Playing Netball:
Improves hand-eye Co-ordination.
Builds up muscle strength and stamina.
Develops the Body's Cardiovascular system.
Improves the body's flexibility and numbleness.
Drama Club
Every Monday 3-4 pm
Students attending Drama Club learn to communicate with and understand others in new ways. allowing students the opportunity to continue to learn the devices, methods and skills within the subject.
Students are currently working on a text "Girls Like That", which looks at the pressures on young people today in the wake of advancing technology.
future plans inclde a Disney Text. Enabling Students to develop skills with costumes, staging, lighting and sound.
The overall aim will be for students to produce a Drama Club led performance
Music Club
Every Thursday 3-4 pm
Music Club provides an Excellent opportunity for students to rehearse outside of lesson times. Offering a place where students can make use of the extra equipment, space and recording facilities.
Music Club is very popular and students are establishing new performing groups every week. Advaned level music students are aslo on hand and more than help fellow students.
The overall aim for music club is to enable students to participate with the various concerts that are held during the year, this will also contribute to increasing grades and levels withing music assessments.
Community Sports Hub
Multi sport session running in the evening at Saltney Town Football Pitch
